A Webinar that took place on Thursday, May 12th 2016 at 4pm led by Jacek Brant who looks at ‘What’s wrong with secondary school economics and how can teachers make it right’:

Jacek argues that economists focus too much on static neo-classical models and that economics should be seen more as a social science, concerned with understanding the often conflicting values, interests, and capacities of large numbers of individuals operating within the constraints of limited resources. He recommends that economics teachers start engaging in exploring the purpose of economics and adopt an interactive pedagogy that seeks to explain the world in which we live.
