Free Financial Literacy Curriculum & Resources

The Financial Times’ charity, the Financial Literacy & Inclusion Campaign (FT FLIC), has developed a free secondary financial literacy curriculum spanning Years 7 to 13. The programme consists of six 50-minute lessons for each year group, following a carefully designed spiral curriculum that revisits key concepts while gradually increasing in depth and complexity as students progress. It covers making informed financial decisions, managing financial risks and preparing for the world of work.

The curriculum is freely available to teachers via FLIC’s online Learning Hub and has been quality assured by both the PSHE Association and the National Association for Special Educational Needs. Designed by experienced classroom teachers, the lessons are practical, engaging and relevant to young people’s lives. Over 900 schools have used FLIC's resources, with 100% of teachers saying they would recommend the curriculum to another school.
