EBEA Fellowship

Good teachers recognise the importance of continuously developing their subject discipline and pedagogy.  In our subject areas, many teachers support this endeavour by joining the EBEA in order to engage with and learn from other teachers facing similar learning challenges. It is worth noting that this kind of prefessional development is also a clear OFSTED expectation.

It is important that being an active member of your subject association receives the recognition it deserves. That is why the EBEA recognises this engagement by bestowing 'Fellowship' on members.

There are three levels of EBEA Fellowship:

Fellowship

Awarded to individual members and all staff registered through an institutional subscription (i.e. a named recipient of the journal). The post-nominal designation is FEBEA.

Senior Fellowship

Awarded to contributors to the journal or any of our other forums on merit and at the discretion of the trustees. Decisions to be made at the following trustee meeting . The post-nominal designation is SFEBEA.

Principal Fellowship

Awarded to EBEA members who have made a contribution over a sustained period. Principal Fellows would be individuals whose work trustees believe have had a sector-wide impact. The post-nominal designation is PFEBEA.
